Governor Beshear Coming to Campus for First Listen Up Legislators!


Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear will be on campus for the first Listen Up Legislators! Event of the school year on September 16, 2009. The event will take place from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM in the Chao Auditorium. As always, you will have the opportunity to write your legislator on the importance of funding higher education. There will be free food, as well. But, most importantly, students will have the opportunity to have a discussion with the Governor on the issues important to you as students. Freshmen LEAD


Are you a freshman looking for a great way to get involved? The Freshmen LEAD program begins a two-year leadership development and mentoring experience for first-year freshmen at the University of Louisville. Students lay the foundation for their leadership journey in the first year of the program, Freshmen LEAD, and put their leadership into action in their second with an opportunity to serve as a REACH Ambassador, Bonner Leader and/or First Year Guide.
